Security Officer - Sheffield

We have an exciting opportunity available to join Constant Security Services on a full time basis working as a Security Officer based in Sheffield.

The rota includes working a mixture of nights and weekends. Please bear in mind this will mean working every weekend, standard working times are 1800-0600.

Some of the duties will include:

•Monitoring CCTV system on multiple sites 

•Access Control

•External and Internal Patrolling

•Random and/or time critical patrols of sites via camera system

•Dealing with alarm activations

•Ensuring no unauthorised persons access sites

•Occasionally assisting staff and visitors on site

•Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported

•Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:

•Experience working in the security industry is preferred but not essential

•Valid Frontline SIA Licence, either Security Guarding or Door Supervisor

•Valid SIA CCTV Licence is essential

•Good communication skills verbally and written

•Smart and Presentable

•5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858

•Report writing skills

•Flexible working hours

•Excellent time management skills

•Ability to think on their feet and excellent decision making skills
