We are excited to announce that Constant Security Services have been shortlisted in the Outstanding Customer Service Initiative category at the Outstanding Security Performance Awards 2017. In the OSPA’s, only those who score above a threshold are finalists, so everybody involved should be very proud.

Constant Security is widely recognised as a market leader in the provision of most innovative and proactive security solutions for high value metal production and research & development orientated organisations.

One particularly successful initiative has been our high value metal early warning suspicious activity call, nicknamed the Round Robin, which is the reason why we have been shortlisted for this award.

In short, on receipt of a suspicious vehicle or suspicious activity being encountered on an assignment, the Security Officer will clearly record all specific information, such as vehicle registration, make & model etc, which is then passed onto our control room. From there, this information is communicated to all of our sites in different geographical areas, ensuring that contact is made with all relevant assignments and stakeholders within our 6 minute maximum target.

It is fair to say that metal theft has been a real issue ever since there was metal! With the Round Robin call being introduced, and not only the Control Room staff passing the information on, but vitally the Security Officers being highly reactive and obtaining the specific information to pass on, we have done our upmost best to reduce this particular crime, which is why everybody involved should be immensely proud for the company being nominated for the award.

The winners for the award will be announced on 2nd March 2017, so fingers crossed and we will update you again soon.
