Yorkshire Man of Steel partnership

We are delighted to announce our corporate sponsorship and Team of Steel partner status with the exciting Yorkshire Man of Steel sculpture project.

We are part of growing list of many of the regions highest profile companies and largest employers, including Sheffield Hallam University and University of Sheffield.

The project began with a simple idea to create a landmark artwork that would act as a beacon for the region and a catalyst for change. The 32 metre high stainless steel sculpture and Interpretation Hub will be built on the border of Rotherham overlooking the M1, minutes from where our company began trading.

It will honour the people and places that forged a lasting legacy in Yorkshire and highlight the new technologies and specialised manufacturing that is helping to transform the region.

The entire project will be built with the latest innovative design and manufacturing techniques, using local skills and materials.

The Yorkshire Man of Steel will be seen by millions of people every year and provide a lasting economic and cultural benefit for generations to come. Advanced design and development work has already started and work on site is expected to begin soon.

A recent economic report by Sheffield Business School concluded the Yorkshire Man of Steel will add £9 million per annum in additional visitor income to the region.
