Security Officer - Shrewsbury
We have an exciting opportunity available to join Constant Security Services on a full time basis, this will be to provide security cover on a well known metal manufacturing site based in Shrewsbury. This will be on a permanent nights rota working every Thursday to Sunday night including alternate Wednesdays.
The shift times will be 1900-0700 providing a guaranteed average of 54 hours per week.
Some of the duties will include:
•Ensuring no unauthorised persons access sites
•Booking Vehicles on and off site
•Monitoring access of staff and contractors accessing site
•Occasionally performing lock and unlock duties
•Patrolling the site at specific times
•Assisting staff and visitors on site
•Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported to the control room
•Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:
•Experience working in the security industry is preferred but not essential
•Valid Frontline SIA Licence, either Security Guarding or Door Supervisor is desirable
•Good communication skills verbally and written
•Smart and Presentable
•5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858
•Report writing skills
•Excellent time management skills
•Ability to think on their feet and excellent decision making skills
