CCTV Controller/Supervisor
We have a full time vacancy available working a two weekly rota pattern on regular nights at a large educational site in Huddersfield, which will provide you with an average 42 hours per week. The shift times are working 21:00 - 09:00. The rota pattern will be discussed at the interview but you are required to work a weekend on and a weekend off.
The main role of the Controller/Supervisor will be to provide security support and assistance to staff, visitors and a diverse range of students in order to maintain a safe and secure University campus. You must be computer literate, have excellent report writing skills and able to manage a small team of officers, so communication skills is essential.
It is essential that the candidate has an understanding that situations need to be dealt with safely and effectively, situations will often require personal judgement calls so the individual must be confident in making such decisions.

Security officer requirements:
•Experience working in the security industry on a similar assignment is desirable.
•Valid Frontline SIA Licence either SG or DS and also CCTV Licence.
•Good communication skills
•Management or Supervisor experience.
•5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858
•Computer literate and able to write detailed reports
•Excellent time management skills
•Ability to think on their feet when making decisions
