| Q: |
Why did you apply for a job with Constant? |
| A: |
I left the forces in 1985 on medical discharge following an injury I sustained in the Falklands War. I definitely thought of the job at Constant as a short term option. |

What were peoples reactions to you applying to Constant? |
| A: |
They thought I was wasting my time and that I was too young to go into Security. There’s a lot of bad publicity about the industry that couldn't be further from the truth, but obviously a lot of people believe what they see on TV -' we're asleep or reading the paper whenever an incident happens! |
| Q: |
What made you stay at Constant? |
| A: |
I enjoyed the work and the challenge. Everyday is different and it can be quite hectic looking after a team. I have received great support from my line managers who have ensured that my training and development needs are always met. |
| Q: |
Do you see a future with Constant? |
| A: |
Yes, I've been with Constant 19 years already and the changes that licensing is expected to bring about are very exciting. |
| Q: |
What's your best memory of working with Constant? |
| A: |
Every year Constant submit Security Officers for the BSIA awards that cover a wide range of activities. My best memory is winning the Security Officer of the year award for 'Service to Customer' |
| Q: |

The very least you’ll get is some valuable qualifications, great life experience and some cash in your back pocket! Give it a go, if you don't try it you will never know! |
